Shliach Rabbi Shalom Ber Stambler, in collaboration with the Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch's CTeen International, under the leadership of Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky and the Chabad Teen organization headed by Rabbi Moshe Shilat, organized by a special tent that will coordinate the Chabad activities during the "March of Life" which will be held this week at the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp in Poland.
On Erev Shabbos, a huge gathering took place, attended by about 1,000 youth. In addition, hundreds of boys and girls entered the huge tent to enjoy hot and cold drinks, and of course put on Tefillin and receive a Neshek kit.
Minyonim and Shabbos meals were part of the program.
The activities are carried out with the assistance of the Shluchim from the Chabad Youth Club that flew to Poland: Rabbi Mendy Kanievsky, member of the administration, and the Shluchim Rabbis Moishy Chazan, Mendy Turkov and Yossi Goldstein.
Among the hundreds who put on Tefillin are Israeli air force pilots who have come to participate in the March of Life, which will take place on Monday.
The program was coordianated with the assistance of the Meromim Overseas Foundation - and Shliach Rabbi Bentzi Lipsker.
