President Vladimir Putin is visiting Israel, arriving with an entourage including Head Shliach and Chief Rabbi R' Berel Lazar.  Minister Avigdor Lieberman greeted the prominent guest and his escorts upon arrival.  An official welcome ceremony took place at the seashore in Netanya, unveiling a WWII Red Army Heroes' monument. 

Present at the ceremony were Lubavitcher Chassidim Rabbi Berel Lazar, R' Levi Leviev, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in the CIS, R' Alexander Boroda, Chairman of the FJC, R' Shlomo Peles, R' Yehuda Blau, CEO Ohr Avner, and more.

Rabbi Lazar, R' Levi Leviev, Rabbi Alexander Boroda and R' Shlomo Peles attended a fancy dinner at the President's Residence in honor of President Putin.
