Have You Fulfilled The Rebbe's Bakosho Nafshis?
Shturem

"The Mitteler Rebbe taught that when one Jew asks another for advice, two G-dly souls are pitted against one animal soul. The person whom you are asking also has an animal soul. However, his animal soul is not concerned with the desires of a colleague." The Lubavitcher Rebbe ( with permission from Sichos In English.)

Have you or your friends been trying to find a Mashpia/mentor who cares, is knowledgable and experienced in the subject matter at hand, is non-judgemental, is consistant in following through, is serious about keeping in touch, is trustworthy in matters of confidentiality, in short …is a real Mentch with Yiras Shamayim?

Enter findaMashpia.com, an exciting new website that is in the process of being formed to help alleviate the trouble woman have gone through to find the right Mashpia. At the outset however, it is important to understand that this project is not intended to take the place of professional help or Rabbinical rulings, if needed. It will be a tool for a woman anywhere in the world to find a person with whom she can confide, with whom she can work through dilemmas, and from whom she can feel confident about receiving appropriate advice Al Pi Torah.

In order to put this system into action, we are asking each of you, if you have personally benefited from a reliable mashpia who is open to advise others, to please ask her if she would consider participating in this project. Additionally, we ask you to think if you could benefit others with your own areas of expertise. You may be able to help another woman in any area/s including: chinuch, shalom bayis, shidduch advice, home management, fear/anxiety guidance, self esteem building, interpersonal relationships, hashkafa, etc. If you would like to have the zechus of participating, and you fit into the Mentch and Yiras Shamayim criterea, please contact us at rvchabad@sbcglobal.net. Include your name, a reference, area/s of expertise, languages you speak, the country in which you reside, a phone contact number, an email address, and the time/s and day/s you are available to help.

We are also taking names of any woman who would like to be a friend with a caring heart and listening ear. This woman should also fit the Mentch and Yiras Shamayim criterea.
Please look deep inside and ask yourself, "Could I help another woman? Could my advice and Chesed make a positive difference in someone's life?" As you know, Chazal tell us, "To save one life is to save the world." Everyone is an "Olam," and we can help complete this world by helping each neshama shine! Let the Rebbe's plea for everyone to have a mashpia inspire you to participate in this amazing and far-reaching mitzvah. When we help someone else, we surely help ourselves.
