Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch of Morristown hosted a 'Shabbos Achdus' for over 200 Tmimim this week.
In preparation for Shavuos, Rabbi Moshe Herson and the Shluchim of Tomchei Temimim put together the program, inviting the yeshivas in New Haven, CT and Baltimore, MD to join.
A seder of learning before Shabbos kicked off the weekend, followed by mincha and a beautiful seder nigunim led by Rabbi Ephraim Piekarski.
The seudas Shabbos was catered by renown chef Dovid Solomon, and was enjoyed by all. Divrei Torah were given by representatives of each yeshiva, including Sichos and stories. The meal lasted into the wee hours of the morning with bochurim farbrenging and getting to know each other.
The grand farbrengen on Shabbos afternoon carried on throughout the day, with many of the Roshei Yeshivah and Mashpiim. Reb Meilech Zweibel, Rabbi Zalman Wilchanski, Rabbi Sholom Spalter, Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, Reb Ephraim Piekarski and Reb Yitzchok Tenenbaum all farbrenged with the bochurim.
Shabbos ended with another seder nigunim and with a bochur chazering a Mamer.
Participants thanked Rabbi Moshe Herson for making everthing possible, Dovid Solmon for all his hard work and the Vaad Hatmimim for their help.
