A truly inspiring Shabbos was celebrated at the Tzemach Tzedek Shul, after the miraculous return of the six stolen Sifrei Torah.  Cries of "Mazel Tov, Mazel Tov!" reverberated around Tzfas, especially after all Tzfas residents were invited by Rabbi Gavriel Marzel to join in the Shabbos davening at Tzemach Tzedek.

Head Shliach Rabbi Chaim Kaplan was the baal t'filla for Kabollas Shabbos, and fittingly led the crowd in Lecho Dodi with the Didan Notzach niggun. 80 IDF soldiers, spending a Shabbos at Ascent, joined in the simcha, which continued the next morning at Shacharis, with 120 Yidden at davening. Half of the attendees were guests who came to celebrate with the Sifrei Torah.

Rabbi Zilberstrom, Rabbi Marzel's son in law, chazzered a Sicha of the Rebbe, and connected it with inyonei d'yoma- the return of the Sifrei Torah. "The true way to celebrate the miracle of "Didan HaSforim Notzach" is to strengthen our Torah and mitzvos."

After davening a farbrengen took place, and Rabbi Marzel regaled the participants with anecdotes of the miracle.  An American Jew approached him and said that he wished to present the three young heroes with a gift.  he gave each one 2,000 NIS, and particpated generously in the new Aron Kodesh. 

The traditional "Chazak Cjazak v'Nischazek" rang out from the Tzemach Tzedek Shul in Tfas, and echoed throughout the narrow alleyways and streets, in anticipation of the true and ultimate Didan Notzach, with Moshiach.

הרב מרזל מקבל את פני כולם בסבר פנים יפות וההתרגשות גוברת לקראת קריאת התורה. הרב זילברשטרום, חתנו של הרב מרזל ופה מפיק מרגליות, חוזר על שיחה של הרבי בפרשת השבוע ומקשר את הדברים לעניין האקטואלי המשמח.

הוא משתף את המשתתפים באירועי 'דידן נצח' בחצר הרבי ומוסיף: "כולנו חשים כאן את דידן דהספרים נצח. הספרים שנגנבו חזרו למקומם באופן של נס גלוי, ועלינו להודות לה' יתברך על כך. הדרך הטובה ביותר היא הוספה בלימוד התורה וקיום המצוות", הוא מפנה קריאה נרגשת למתפללים.

בסיום התפילה, התוועדות שבת מברכים עם הרב גבריאל מרזל שמחזק בדבריו הנרגשים את המתפללים.

הרב מרזל משתף את הנוכחים בסיפורים מרגשים, בשולי הנס שארע השבוע לבית הכנסת ומספר על ההתעוררות הגדולה מכל רחבי הארץ. "הגיע לכאן יהודי אמריקאי אתמול שקרא על מציאת הספרים על ידי שלושת הילדים באינטרנט. הוא ביקש לפגוש את הילדים באופן אישי והעניק לכל אחד מתנה, אלפיים שקלים", מספר הרב מרזל, "וכמובן הרים תרומה מכובדת לרכישת כספת לארון קודש".

הקריאה "חזק, חזק ונתחזק" בסיום חומש ויקרא הדהדה כאן, מהעיר העתיקה בצפת, אל כל סמטה וסמטה, השרתה רוח אחרת בעיר אפופת הקדושה והוד קדומים.
