The annual International Kinus HaShluchim got off the ground on Wednesday in Crown Heights with the participation of approximately 3,000 Shluchim from all corners of the world. During the kinus there will be various tributes to the Rebbe's Shluchim to Bombay, Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg HY"D, who died al kiddush Hashem just a few days after last year's kinus.

One of the highlights will be the siyum of a Sefer Torah in their memory. The writing of the Torah commenced soon after receiving news of the tragedy, and will be completed at a moving event with the participation of Shluchim, Ana"sh, and Tmimim.

The event will begin on Thursday the the 25th of Cheshvan at 8:00 PM in the Oholei Torah Ballroom in Crown Heights (667 Eastern Parkway), after which there will be a joyous parade to Beis Chayeinu -770, where the hakafos and dancing will take place.

The Vaad Hakinus invites the public to take part in this celebration in memory of the Shluchim HY”D.
