Mrs. Sophia Kogan, OB"M
With shock and sadness we report the very sudden passing of Mrs. Sophia Kogan, ob"m, Shlucha of the Rebbe in Moscow, and wife of - yibodel l'chaim tovim- Rabbi Yitzchok Kogan also known as the Tzaddik from Leningrad. Rabbi Kogan is a Shliach of the Rebbe and the Rov of the Bolshaya Bronnaya Shul in Moscow.
Mrs. Kogan is survived by - yibodlu l'chaim- her mother, husband, sons and daughters, grandchildren and great granchildren.
The Jewish kehilla in Moscow is in shock after learning of her sudden passing. Mrs, Kogan was the mother figure for an untold number of Jewish women and girls for decades, and they consulted her in all matters of their lives, including Halachic issues. She worked untirelessly to establish the Mikveh to insure the upkeep and continuity of the purity of Jewish families in the city.
Shturem will update the details of the levaye and shiva as they become known.

Moshiach Now
Reb Yitzchok, Michoel and Sima, Segev and Esther, Yossi, and Chaya and family sheyichyu:
I am in a complete state of shock as I did not see this until today.
I have no words except AD MOSAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sadly due to issues beyond my control I cannot leave here during the shiva but will try to visit you as soon as I can. I was expecting to come to Moscow soon to spend time with you but never dreamed it would be under such circumstances. The memories of all the Shabbosim that we enjoyed together thanks to Rebbetzin Sofa A"H are but a small part of what she will be remembered for, but let it only be a split second before we see her again with MOSHIACH NOW!
